Işık Elektroteknik Müh. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. has been founded as a company which
followed the companies Güler Elektrik and Işık Mühendislik in May 1995.
The company “Güler Elektrik” has been founded by Mr. İhsan GÜLER who has been retired
from Gölcük Military Shipyard in 1972 where he worked as master worker in the electronic
workshop. “Güler Elektrik” has rendered services to the commercial vessel for repairing,
maintaining and installing Gyro Compass, Autopilot and Steering Control Systems
in capacity of sub contractor of Mr. Temuçin KOCATÜRK who was authorized service
station and sales representative of Anschütz GmbH in Turkey.
In 1982, Güler Elektrik has been renamed as “Işık Mühendislik” due to being that
Necmi GÜLER, son of İhsan GÜLER has participated in the company and has continued
to activate as authorized service station of Anschütz GmbH in the same business
line.
In 1995, due to participation of Ümit GÜLER, Işık Mühendislik has decided to be
limited company and has been renamed as “Işık Elektroteknik Mühendislik Sanayi ve
Ticaret Limited Şirketi” in May 1995. In the same years, Anschütz GmbH has been
sold to Raytheon Company and its name has changed as Raytheon Marine GmbH and has
added new devices such as RADAR, ECDIS, GMDSS into the product range and started
to launch complete Bridge Navigation & Communication systems into the market. In
line with these activities, our company has continued to render dealership services
for all Raytheon and Anschütz Trademark Products.
Işık Elektroteknik has applied for Authorized Service Station Position of Raytheon
Marine GmbH in Turkish market in 2000 after retire of Mr. Temuçin KOCATÜRK. In 2006
Raytheon Marine GmbH company renamed to “Raytheon Anschütz GmbH”.
Işık Elektroteknik continue service and sales business as authorized service station
of Raytheon Anschütz GmbH with two engineers, four technicians and one accountant.
Işık Elektroteknik office is situated in Gölcük. It is 65 km far from Tuzla Shipyards
and 4 km far from the shipyards within Kocaeli Free Zone, 30 km far from Yalova
Shipyards Area.
